Haldi, one of the most colorful ceremony of Indian Weddings.

The Haldi ceremony is a ritual holy bath, which is one of the pre-wedding ceremonies in India.

Haldi, oil, and water are applied to both the bride and groom and is believed a blessing to the couple before the wedding. This mixture is known to have properties that leave the skin fair and glowing. In some Indian communities, Haldi is considered auspicious and also signifies protection while the Mehndi ceremony is usually held a day before the wedding where the paste of mehndi is applied to the bride and groom’s hands and feet.
